New alerts have been issued for the next few days in various cities through out Italy as the heat wave continues. Maximum alert in Bolzano, Bologna, Brescia, Firenze, Genova, Roma and Torino. Trieste, Rieti, Perugia, Milano, Frosinone and Campobasso now at level 2 (In Italy there are 3 levels with 3 being the maximum).
Tomorrow there will be a big meeting between the heads of the regions, organised by Ferruccio Fazio (head of health) to discuss the effects this heat wave has on health and to inform the various medical assistance centres so they can offer the maximum support.

I heard it was really hot from my aunt who lives in Rome. She still refuses to install an air conditioner though. I don't know how they tolerate the heat. By the way, love the new look of your blog!
