R.I.P. Lucio Dalla
Today Italy mourns the death of Lucio Dalla. The 69 year old singer-songwriter died of a heart attack whilst in concert in Switzerland on 1st March 2012. Dalla was considered by many as a 'piece of Italy' and sang (and wrote) numerous hits over his long career.
The last public appearance of Lucio Dalla in Italy was at this years Sanremo where he performed with Pierdavide Carone.
It's hard to pick a favorite song but here's a selection of his greatest hits:

I hadn't known he passed away...watching these videos brought back memories of having listened to his songs throughout the years. Thanks for highlighting them.
