Write for ATRD

As the Romans Do is open for submissions. Submit your guest post for publication on the blog.

Guidelines:
  • Please keep on topic. As the Romans Do  readers are interested in articles about/related to Italy, the Italian language, Italian history etc...
  • You are welcome to use your own experience as an example.
  • Articles should be between 300 and 800 words.
  • This is currently a non-paying market, although this may change in the future. 
  • As the Romans Do is for all levels and therefore welcomes submissions from both experienced and amateur writers.
  • All submissions should be sent in the body of an email with "As The Romans Do  guest post" in the subject line. Send in plain text. No indents etc. Verdana 12. One line spacing between paragraphs.
  • Include an author byline with your web-link.
  • If submitting an image to go with the post you must include its credit link. You are also welcome to submit an author photo to be posted with your article. Images should be sent as jpeg attachments.
  • Copyright should be that of the writer submitting the article. Copyright will remain with the author.
  • Previously published articles are welcome as long as they fit the above criteria.
  • If you have already been reserved a date for posting, the guest post must be sent the day before at the very latest.
  • Failure to follow the guidelines may result in your post being rejected (this is valid for both individual authors and those submitting through tour companies).
